Permaculture Garden
The Permaculture Garden is a lovely little nook besides Williams Hall, just outside the campus store. It is home to dozens of plant species including sea kale, mint, and calendula, all nestled as closely beside each other as they would in a natural ecosystem. The garden is planted and tended to by the gardening and permaculture class in the environmental studies department during the spring. A small dirt path leads from the sidewalk through the permaculture garden and ends at a trellis with a bench. The bench is a nice place to sit between classes and admire the plants in the permaculture garden.
